We enjoyed a really nice All American Breakfast at the restaurant. Then started our sightseeing tour at Grace Cathedral and bought a 3-day pass for the entire SFO public transport (Clipper Card) at a hardware store and hopped on the cable car and MUNI to North Point. From here we walked to Fisherman’s Wharf and saw the seals at Pier 39. Then we went on a historic streetcar towards Castro District and from there took the local bus to the Painted Ladies and then walked to Haight Ashbury where we had a look in several thrift shops and a shop full of guitars. From here we took the Metro back to Powell, queued at the cable car turn and of course took the cable car back to Nob Hill (Linda and Mama hung on to the outside of the cable car) just in time for Happy Hour at the Interconti. In the evening we enjoyed a classical American meal at Lori’s Diner.
QOTD: ‘Have a great day!’ (A road worker to us when we crossed the street at Castro.)
